Skills for Jobs is a training programme - based at The Source, Meadowhall - tailored for lone parents and those returning to work.  The training is flexible, allowing learners the opportunity to tailor a training programme to suit their needs. The programme is carefully balanced to help participants improve their knowledge of the retail industry whilst gaining essential employability skills.

Niesha is currently looking for employment and decided to enroll on Skills for Jobs. Pleased with her progress so far Niesha said:

"I enrolled on the Skills for Jobs programme because I absolutely love retail. I wanted to improve my employability and gain more knowledge about the retail sector. I've met many people in the same situation as me and we've learnt together and bonded as a group. We support each other when completing application forms and going for interviews. The tutors have made it easy for me to learn, encouraging my learning style. My ultimate dream would be to open up a fashion boutique."
