Tanya has been working for the ladies retail store Topshop for 3 years. During this time Tanya has undertaken and completed an NVQ Level 3 in Customer Service.

Tanya's assessor identified an opportunity to incorporate Top Shop's in-house training with the NVQ. This ensured the learning gained was embedded and appropriate to her role, providing Tanya with the skills and knowledge to carry out her managerial responsibilities. It also eliminated unnecessary duplication of work for Tanya. 

Through hard work, determination and effective support, Tanya has now been promoted to the position of store manager at Topshop Barnsley. The new foundation degree in retail management provides an ideal opportunity to harmonise continued learning with Tanya's increased work responsibilities.

This clearly demonstrates that through dedication and commitment Tanya has achieved her aspirations and personal objectives.
